I have one too and I'm using the log wall's in my current project.
You can find a picture of it here:

The idea is to build a two stud deep wall. The log wall panels
are in the back and I place a frame of sorts in front of them.
The basic idea you can see in this picture (I used white walls
here because I'm currently out of brown ones):

It is built entirely out of rectangular bricks, walls and a few
plates, none of them rare items and it makes a sturdy wall
for me.
With a picture of the back I hope it's clear how it all fits
together:

Several variations on this idea are possible. Here you see how
I used 1x2x3 slope bricks and arches with the log panel in a
similar fashion:

I hope this is of use to you and wish you happy building.
Twan.

| Very nice use of the "wood" wall sections, Twan! I use them in a much less original away, just for timber structures. I have also found that the 1 by 2 and 1 by 4 bricks are great for building hoardings to hang at the top of castle walls. cheers (...) (23 years ago, 2-May-02, to lugnet.castle)
