A few questions... —John Henry Kruer
Alot of questions: Which castle wall color do think is best? Which castle set is the one you like the most? (out of any eara) There arn't any light grey castle corner walls available in current sets, right? Out of the little sets of the current (...) (23 years ago, 28-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

(...) You know, I really like the Yellow Tudor walls! They're perfect for old victorian style architecture. (especially if you're trying to recreate english homesteads, or a really awesome medieval villiage :) (...) You know, I would have to go with (...) (23 years ago, 28-Apr-02, to lugnet.castle)

Parents and legos (was Re: A few questions...) —Jeremy Scott
I am home-schooled and my parents nourish Lego as a hobby. Instead of spending free time playing video games, watching tv or on the computer (hmm, scratch that, spending time on the computer doing non-lego things. ), I build with legos. They enjoy (...)           Re: Parents and legos (was Re: A few questions...) —Steve Bliss
(...) Actually, that one won't work. Your parents will connect the dots, and assume that if you keep on with the legos, you'll end up as one of the crazy loons. Steve 'not *quite* 40' Bliss (23 years ago, 29-Apr-02, to lugnet.people)

(...) Oooh... Found this one here: (URL) thx Nate! Taken from context: (i)It's my money, I can do what I want with it.       (...) Hmmm... Well, on a more seriouse point, my parents arn't letting me buy anything until my birthday,in August. This really ticks me off. They think I know nothing about anything. Really, they know nothing about Lego pieces, and probablly have (...) (23 years ago, 12-May-02, to lugnet.people)

(...) Hmmm... I like it to. I can't really really set my sights on the yellow tudor walls... so these will have to do anyway. (...) Yeah, its a really nice set, judging by the instructions.         Re: A few questions... —Magnus Lauglo
(...) Light grey is what I prefer building my castles in. If they were available in Tan or dark greay (in bulk), those colours coudl make for great colours for large stone buildings.          Re: A few questions... —Magnus Lauglo
Very nice use of the "wood" wall sections, Twan! I use them in a much less original away, just for timber structures. I have also found that the 1 by 2 and 1 by 4 bricks are great for building hoardings to hang at the top of castle walls. cheers (...) (23 years ago, 2-May-02, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Okay. I'm game... (...) Light Gray. I do most of my Castle MOCs in this color. Some would argue just light gray bricks are better, as they do not limit you to certain styles.         Re: A few questions... —Nathan Schroeder
(...) I think it really depends on the castle you're trying to build. Overall, I'd say light gray is the best, but it's possible to have a completely realistic (or evil) looking castle using black with gray highlights. Didn't someone have a pink and (...)
