Jay, Excellent background story! You've really started "In the beginning" with your world, and I can imagine it took a lot of thought. I'm looking forward to my Blacksmith's Shop waiting for me when I get back stateside, it looks like a terrific set, merging the new cool details of newer sets with the back to basic brick contruction of castle's golden age. ANTHONY! heya dude, this castle is pretty kick ass. i think tim has an inside line about what this castle is about.. is it really supposed to be dwarven? well it has a real compact, tight look to it that i guess kinda feel dwarven (im not sure if im (...) the pics look very cool.. but at times the computerization has kinda distracted me from what it actually is. at times i can't really make out whats in the picture, or make sense of it because of the digitization. not that i dislike it, on the (...) (23 years ago, 28-Jan-02, to lugnet.castle)

I used McDonalds Coffee stirrers for a trireme I built five or six years ago. I have been makeing MOCs for a while. Just little one room homes witha bed. Then after getting the Blacksmith shop and putting it in my town it towered over the small houses. So I took 3 small houses and built a big one. It's a bit taller then the (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jan-02, to lugnet.castle)

John, I couldn't agree with you more. The sets have been decreasing in basic parts and creativity for quite a while now. I'm in Metro NYC - got mine today. Quite impressed after a the once over. The box is color printed - unlike the Guarded Inn reissue. Congrats again to David Siskind. Awesome, I agree that Drago is especially impressive, his shield look awesome, and is one of the all time coolest customised minifig accessories I have seen! On the topic of customised minifigs, has anyone else used a blacktron helmet with a black (...) (23 years ago, 25-Jan-02, to lugnet.castle)

some of your shots are amazingly dramatic and welldone! especially those dealing with the encounter with the balrog.. excellent use of light and shadow! most especially the shot of gandalf and the balrog sword fighting. supurb! i find when a movie (...) (23 years ago, 25-Jan-02, to lugnet.castle)
