This thread has gotten quite tangled in lugnet.space and other groups as folks have tried to redirect it. I have just overrode followups on all messages that followed up into lugnet.space such that followups go to lugnet.build.arch. The other groups (...) (...) Great ideas! But I just want to point something out for making it "realistic". That is ALL great churches and cathedrals with stained glass do not show the glass color on the outside. Hi Marc, thanks for the compliments (now there is even a 'bargerboswindow'...) I like your church very much. You've got to use a lot of brown tiles there. But it really gives a 'wooden' touch to it all. Also the cross on the tower is a nice touch. (...) (20 years ago, 14-Oct-04, to lugnet.castle)
