Next chapter of Anachronistic Skies posted.

Hello, well after the last month or so of writing chapter five of my story, (No, I didn't stop writing after the constructive criticism :) I'm pleased to announce the next section of my story. Yes, I realize this is a bit off topic, but .castle is (...) (22 years ago, 23-Feb-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.castle)

Re: New MOC: Akael Me'Han Dragon Project.

(...) I've always had a penchant for drawing dragons, but this was my first actualy attempt at a lego rendition. (URL) a page with more description. (...) Yep, another result of my poor photograpgy resources at my disposal, and lack of funds to (...) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: New MOC: Akael Me'Han Dragon Project.

(...) Who knows, actualy, I was asking that to myself the other day. (not many comments on this model for some reason... I guess it got buried under all of those press releases?) Your imput is much appreciated :) (...) Thanks for the comments! (...) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: My friend's newly built homepage

Hi Bruce, thanks for your reply. I will definitely told Yicke about that. I kind of remember we talked before in lugnet? Are you the one from UCLA, working as a chemist and had photos of an MOC chemistry lab at your homepage? Jackie (...) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.pirates)

  Re: 1592 Stickers

I had a scan of this sticker sheet that someone was cool enough to send me. I had someone else post it, but site is now gone. Anyone save the file or can send new one? I didnt put file on my back-up cds (doh!) I've got a way to make some really good (...) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: MOC: Jahmong Shrine

(...) Actually, sitting down with it today, i was able to condense the corner beams and bring them closer inset by removing some excess bricks. The result is a much nicer, more integrated look. It really removes the "set on top of" look you (...) (22 years ago, 21-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: The Four: Chapters 5-6

Nick, I finally had the time to get to your story. It's really good so far. I can't wait to see where it goes. The overhead shot of Sun and Yen lying on the deck of the boat is really nice. They certainly look day-dreamy. You've got a lot of (...) (22 years ago, 21-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: MOC: Jahmong Shrine

Hey, Great little building. I especially love the two little statues on either side of the entrance. Bruce (22 years ago, 21-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers)

  FOTW: #6073 Knight's Castle for $25!

Hey all, Haven't seen one of these posts in awhile, but this one's worth it! The box is in excellent condition and it even has the clear plastic insert tray to show off special pieces. It didn't have the instructions, so I'll be downloading them (...) (22 years ago, 21-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: MOC: Jahmong Shrine

(...) Wow! Great architectual translation to Lego. Excellent use of fence pieces as screening--and those bug-eyed tigers/lions--dead on! Maybe the diagonal hip beams could be played around with or inset in the roof (as you say to "clean up the (...) (22 years ago, 21-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: MOC: Jahmong Shrine

(...) Hey Nick. That shrine is really cool. A very experimental roof that turned out pretty well, I think. The fences as screens is also quite nice. Question: Who's the yellow statue inside? You said Yen paid respects there.. is it an ancestral (...) (22 years ago, 21-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: MOC: Jahmong Shrine

(...) suggestion would be to cover the top studs with some red and white tiles, like James suggested. The four corners are excellent. But my favorite part by far is the screens on the inside. I was really suprised when I saw them. Great use of an (...) (22 years ago, 21-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: MOC: Jahmong Shrine

(...) That's a cool little shrine; I especially like the fences-as-screens inside. As to cleaning up the roofline; if you can't get your hands on the right corner slopes, try just putting tile over the studs. thanks, James (22 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers)

Re: Epic of the Beyhadur: Completion

(...) If I may add my two cents to this as of yet small discussion. I find with myself it's mainly that I come up with the characters first, then story, then MOCs. However, I must say that I find I have the best luck if I come up with just the raw (...) (22 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Epic of the Beyhadur: Completion

(...) thanks! (...) Yeah, I realized that while making the first part.. but couldn't immeadiately figured out a solution without having to re-write the whole thing. My next project will eliminate the problem. Thanks for the feedback! _lenny (22 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)
