I've always had a penchant for drawing
dragons, but this was my first actualy
attempt at a lego rendition.

Here's a page with more description.

Yep, another result of my poor photograpgy
resources at my disposal, and lack of funds
to upgrade.

When I get the parts to build the two hind
legs and improve on the tail, you can expect
another wave of pics.

Heh...and I thought it just looked as
though the dragon were bowing forth. I
believe the lack of 1x1 clips attributed
to that error.

Well, yes, that was my original intent,
although it was four or so months late
for the midnight MOCkery contest :) I'm
just thankful it came out as I planned,
albeit smaller than I expected.

Would you believe that was a last minute
addition for a 'tail'? Yeah, I would admit
that it's not exactly the best solution,
hence I need to get brown hunges and
additional dino tail pieces for that.

Well, the original idea started when I saw
Todd Kubo's dragon about a year ago, and
I've been collecting pieces since then.
(although for the originality points, I
wanted a different spinal and wing system.)
The rest came from an abundance of
lightsaber pieces, clips and a few unique
parts use ideas I had in mind.

| Hey Matt, I always love seeing 'brick-made' creatures, especially dragons! I have to admit that I have a hard time understanding the pictures. What I mean is that I see all the pieces clearly enough, just have a moment to see what the pieces are (...) (22 years ago, 17-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)
