Somewhere in the .POV file (probably at the end) you have something like: light_source { <-60,-285,-186> color rgb <1,1,1> } The first triplet <-60, -285, -186> is the position of the light.   Re: L3P user primitive substitution

(...) Lutz Uhlman's LGEO library does just this with some exceptions. It is a high quality library of many of the parts from LDraw in POV-Ray. It has a slightly steeper learning curve as compared to using L3P but I would still recommend it to anyone (...) (24 years ago, 4-Dec-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

(...) Scene #8 was nearly the death of me. Rendered at 1024x768, it took about 60 hours to complete, and I swear the model is cursed. The first time I tried to render it, I realized about 20 hours into it that the symmetrical lattices for the LEGO (...) (23 years ago, 31-Mar-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Cheap focal blur tutorial

Hi all, I discovered a really neat trick with POVray and GIMP yesterday that I thought might be of interest to other CADders so I've written the below tutorial. sorry, I made a typo, here is the correct text: I noticed that is happens when you use the LGEO-parts. Everything is okee when you don't use LGEO. Ed or Eduardo? Thanks! I don't think there is any standard for that animation. I just wanted to create something with a higher aspect ratio then the standard 4x3 or 1.33 for a bit of widescreen look.
