Awesome job!  Do you think you could you post the POV file and images you
used for the height fields?  Have you tried using LGEO parts?  (-lgeo option
in l3p)

I'll put them up when time permits (I'm offline when reading/writing). The
height field is the same I've always used, taken directly out of the POV
manual. If you looked closely you should be able to see the likeness of the
wawes in 'Regina...' and 'Titanic' :-))

In the Titanic, the height field is almost totally clear, all the water color
comes from the rippled plane, which lies under it (or the sky, in the
underwater scene).

I have not tried the LGEO parts on this model, the reason being time - the
Titanic scenes consist of ~50000 POV objects, and uses circa one hour of
rendering time (each). With Lutz' parts, I think it would be more like 2.5
hours (But it's easy with BlockCAD: just a click on 'Render with L2P' :-) and
I'm not sure that all parts will be there (I haven't set up the latest L3P
yet - need to set the new command line options from inside BC).
