We MUST keep it in 8+3 format because SOME PEOPLE still do use LEdit, and if you don't have the files in 8+3 format you can't use the files. (...) What's wrong with the model already being used? And why a POV-Ray? This isn't pov-ray.org, it's ldraw.org. To be completely pure, it should be an image generated by LDraw. (...) Yes, at least it makes a difference if the lines are drawn before or after the surrounding/contrasting color quads. LDraw (and LDLite) favor the earlier-drawn object, when two objects occupy the same space. Always draw edge-lines first. Steve (25 years ago, 18-May-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
