  Re: [ldraw.org] Shockwave Flash

(...) My suggestion: worry about content and delivery before worrying about spice. LDraw.org should be approachable: easy to access, easy to understand, work on the maximum number of browsers. Using Shockwave to deliver content might improve some (...) (26 years ago, 12-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  [ldraw.org] Domain Registration

I feel it is an appropriate time to register the domain name and take donations for it. I figure I will not waste time contacting Larry via email, but go ahead with handling donations myself since he has been absent (or at least hasn't posted) here (...) (...) Since we've mentioned other Macromedia products, I've used Fireworks for this. It has a cool preview feature that lets you tweak out an image, deciding on quality vs size and it even gives you an estimate of the download time at 28.8. (...) (26 years ago, 14-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
