Caught a link to this article on Slashdot today. Given that we're
almost halfway through April it might be a good idea to wait just a
bit on this.

Network Solutions' monopoly is ending. Prices for domain registration
are expected to drop, with some analysts saying the price may be less
than $15 but more than $2.
Not that $70 is a great deal of money given the number of people who
will throw in $5 or $10 (count me in), but if there's a chance the
price could be cut by up to 3/4 or more...
