Hrmmm, inherently cheap bastard that I am, I can't agree.  This has
been discussed for _months_.  What's another couple of weeks?  Wasn't
there some mention at one point of taking the extra funds and buying
software or development tools or something that could be used by the
programmers?

Well, because Todd volunteered generously to front the bill until donations
can be collected, I sent a message on to Jacob to have his ISP register it
to work with his server.  I am the billing contact and will handle the
money to pay InterNIC and also handle donations and send them on to Todd to
reimburse him.  So it will be available 24-48 hrs after Jacob has it
registered...

There's no turning back now...the site must go on :)

I'm still deciding a good font - I would like one like on the lego.com
about us section.  The problem is Christoph Bartneck (who designed most of
the site) didn't remember what it was called since he did it a couple years
ago, so he couldn't tell me.  That's not a huge deal, I can find another
attractive sans serif lightweight font that can do the trick.  The problem
is at a lot of the freeware font sites they're all weird fonts.  I got a
good thirty of em last night none of which I am 100% satisfied with.  I
will resort to Verdana for the images if I can't decide within a day or so.
Its nice, lightweight, and we can maintain a consistency between the
images and the text of the site.

I also took a digital photograph of the lego brick I was trying to render
in l3p and having trouble with.  It captures more of the effect I was going
for.  This brick will appear in the upper left corner of at least the main
page to be a little logo.  I will also take a stud off of it and use it as
a bullet.

Keep Building!!
