Re: New LDraw Contest: POTM Part Of The Month

(...) hi james, all entries will be collected throughout the month and then added to the page - offline. when voting starts no new entries will be added. just think of the MOTM/SOTM contest. it wouldn't be fair. what you are seeing right now will go (...) (...) Thank you for your polite enquiry. Externally, the situation is little changed since this announcement in September: (URL) a lot is going on in the background. (...) There is one significant difference between LDraw and Photoshop in that you pay for the right to use Photoshop without giving credit. That said I don't think we need to vandalise our images to put the credit in but I'm not completely averse to (...) (18 years ago, 18-Jan-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Finaly: I completed my new LDraw render engine

Just wanted to show you people that the LD4DModeler project is not dead, I'm still working on the succeeder and I'm happy to announce the first big step is done. I finished the basic 3D Engine and editors. I have put some screen dumps on my site. (...) (18 years ago, 25-Jan-07, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) I agree, clarification on rendered images is needed. If a rendering using LDraw parts is a derivative work, and derivative works are required to visibly display credit, that's a problem. It won't show up on my renders; I don't burn "Credit: (...) (18 years ago, 18-Jan-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

That is not the case, the author must submit their own part which means that if you've submitted something (...) (18 years ago, 27-Jan-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, FTX)

  TextWrangler LDraw Kit

I like (URL) LDraw DesignPad>. However, I do a lot of work in (URL) TextWrangler> on my Mac, so I thought it would be neat if it had more features for working with LDraw files. This is a really great idea... But I find it a little difficult to see how you can participate unless you're one of the small handfull of reviewers with a constant level of high activity: If you aren't paying really close attention to the PT on a (...)
