Yes, They were with 2.1.0, but let me just check... hmm doesn't
seem to be doing it, maybe it was on the other one I was using,
which was two before this beta. Maybe I was just confused. I was
going between the two last night. I'd have both open and go back
and forth between them. Sorry about that. I wish I had more time
to check over it again. Wait a minute, I had been using the
MOVER
just fine on the other version, so it must have been on 2.1.0,
but on
this computer it isn't giving me the error.
I know for sure though that the INLINER problem was on the older
version. It really isn't that big of a problem though.

The only problem was that Mover would put a blank line after • the file title

One other problem I found is that after using the MOVER, when • it

in the header, and if the first line after the header is 0
INLINED then
it will delete the either the INLINED part of that or else • that
whole
thing and leave the rest of the line. I'm sorry but I can't
remember
which it is.
Just thought I'd point these out.
Also the INLINER will not look in the current directory for
wubmodels.
ie. models/firetruc/airfire.dat    this is the main model and • I
want to
inline  models/firetruc/airfircb.dat   It will inline but give • a
message
that no lines were found. Sounds to me like the same type of
problem
like with Ledit. Oh, and by the way, Tim had mentioned putting
the
whole path of the submodel ie. models\mymodel\submodel.dat or
mymodel\submodel.dat  but neither ways of doing it work.

The subdirectory access makes life a whole lot easier :)

Good. :)

The only problems I've foungd so far is that you can not • move
a file to another directory, but you can place a copy of it
there.

Hmm.  Oh, right; apparently, the file drag-n-drop to • directory
stuff isn't
done, yet.

The other thing is, on the computer I'm on now, the family
computer,
I had a problem with the last version of LDAO in that • whenever
I
would type something I would lose my mouse pointer and have
to get it down to the Windows Taskbar and click on the LDAO
button(or any other one that happened to be open) to be able • to
see my pointer. So, since I hadn't had a problem on my
computer(not this one) with the next to last update, I • assumed

that it was just the computer. But, I put the new version on
that computer and I have the same problem of my pointer • disappearing,
so I am inclined to think that something may have been • changed
in the code for the past two versions to make this happen.
Steve is this something you can look into?? Is anyone else
having this problem??

I'm not sure where to start with that one.  Is there a • specific
part of the
program where you're having a problem?  Does the pointer • disappear, or does
it go to an hourglass?   Have you checked your video drivers?

Then I found a problem with Ldraw/Ledit. While the
subdirectories are nice, they aren't any help if you have a • model with
submodels, as Ldraw/Ledit only looks in the parts, p, & • models
directories,
not even the current directory.

Yes, this is a "documentation issue".  The subdirectory • support
is only
good for LDLite and L3P (and other, smart, tools).  So the • documentation
will have to indicate this situation.  Having an option to • hide
the
drive/folder controls would be good, too.

(...) Well, I went and checked again, and you were right about Mover eating the first on each line of header comments. That's been fixed. I've *got* to make Mover do recursive corrections (ie, fix submodels). And directory-wide operations. Steve (25 years ago, 1-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
