Re: Problems with new part and S\3069BS01.DAT

(...) Hmmm... Lars will have to give conformation of this but I think L3P was handling your part as a submodel. That would explain why the tile subpart was shrunk when it was in any other directory but the parts directory -Orion (22 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Problems with new part and S\3069BS01.DAT

In my problem description I didn't mention that I had actually included the part in an mlcad model, so effectively it was created as a Type 1 line. The solution to the problem though seems to have been removing the part from the ldraw models (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Problems with new part and S\3069BS01.DAT

I appear to have answered my own question, though I don't understand the answer :) It seems that if the part is located in the LDRAW\MODELS directory, the extended face problem exists. If the part is moved into LDRAW\PARTS, however, the problem (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Problems with new part and S\3069BS01.DAT

(...) Do you have the seam option turned on? This option causes the parts to be scaled a little smaller to generate the seams between parts. For rendering single parts, turn the seam option off. Niels (22 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Problems with new part and S\3069BS01.DAT  [DAT]

While trying to create the 1x2 tile with keyboard pattern piece, I ran into a problem that I have broken down into a simple example: 0 Tile 1 x 2 test 1 16 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 s\3069bs01.dat 4 16 20 0 10 -20 0 10 -20 0 -10 20 0 -10 Can someone (...)   Re: New Part: x727 - Trailer 4 x 16 Ramp

Tore, I know exactly how you feel. I have only submitted a few parts in my time. None of which are good enough. A few had some duplicated line and stuff, which I corrected, resubmitted and were never updated. One was ignored by people and was (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Is There A Version of this part anywhere?

Hi All, Is there a version of the 2 x 2 x 2/3 (x85?) silver reflector dish anywhere? Either an official or an unofficial version? I'm in the final stages of LDrawing my train, and I can't seem to find the piece anywhere. I searched lugnet and (...) I've scanned through the archives of posts and I can't seem to find a definitive answer on some questions I have about stickers on parts. Thanks for the information. In general when a part seems to be just a scaled version of another, is a new part made or is the existing one just included by a new dat file and scaled appropriately? Thanks! Karl (...) (22 years ago, 30-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Has this part been modeled? I have no clue of the part number or if this is the correct name. This name came from BrickLink and the part number for the image is g8l.
