While trying to create the 1x2 tile with keyboard pattern piece, I ran into
a problem that I have broken down into a simple example:
0 Tile 1 x 2 test
1 16 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 s\3069bs01.dat
4 16 20 0 10 -20 0 10 -20 0 -10 20 0 -10
Can someone explain why the edges of the part face seem to extend out on
each side beyond the subpart when run through l3p and then rendered with povray?
An example rendering of the problem is available at
http://www.blackdown.org/~karl/lego/test.PNG
Thanks for any assistance.
Karl

If the part is moved into LDRAW\PARTS, however, the problem (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

| (...) I assume you converted this code: 0 Tile 1 x 2 test 1 16 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 s\3069bs01.dat 4 16 20 0 10 -20 0 10 -20 0 -10 20 0 -10 The explaination is that L3P shrinks all the parts/subparts (i.e. Type 1 lines) slightly for the seam (...)
