I had a similar trouble until I re-read the installation instructions.. I had to download LDRAW first, install it, download and install the pieces (dat) library for LDRAW, and then download and install MLCAD. Otherwise, I was always missing stuff (...) I just installed MLCAD 1.6 last night for the 1st time. I didn't like the old DOS based LDRAW/CAD stuff since my Win98 doesn't really like DOS. (...) the hex values are for mlcad 1.6 custom color. ldlite as far as I know doesnt support it, and ldraw crashes when hex is encountered. some alternatives for colors are : 42 = lime green transparent / neon green 44 = orange transparent (25 years ago, 19-Dec-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Ack! I guess I posted the "non-steps" version. So reverse what I said in my original post :) As for the scale, you're right. I don't have any photos right now to compare with, but isn't it a bit large to be minifig-scale? I have tried to put a minifig on the ground besides it, and the minifig looks rather small. i got this crazy yet good idea for a large train car. 2 34 stud chassis's. 2 wheel sets, with one custom made (engine look alike like in 4558) to put in middle. so it is like this __ a __ __ b __ 00\_____/ 0T0 \____/00 kind of like that, go from (...) (...) Actually, this was meant to be 3 separate autonomus files. Just Copy & Paste one, save it as the filename listed on line 2, then do the same to the second, then the third. (...) LDLite isn't displaying it properly. This happens with certain MPD files, but I don't know why. I'd suggest downloading it and using one of the programs that splits .mpd files to view it correctly. Jeff P.S. This is the main reason I support (...) Whoops! Error in my in the final .DAT file. It is corrected in this copy. I elected to change the trailer's final color. In case it shows up hollow, #391 is a mixture of the two grays. (...) Whether this item is used in Datsville or not, I felt that LEdit/LDraw users could use an intermodal transport system.
