Well, that's not exactly true -- I'd use the same prefix on all the names, so that the files stay close together when people are looking at their (huge) (...) I've finished a couple of models. Looking back I realize that I used names for sub models that may not mean much to anyone else. Is there a protocal for filenames, sub models, etc.? Is it ok to post sets w/ missing pieces? I've modeled set 3442 & 2148, both semi-trucks. The "truck horn" part has not been created yet. The color chrome doesn't seem to be an option in MLCAD. Yeah, but it's the challenge! Any LEGO fan can make a decent mecha or spaceship but it's the challenge that really stands out! It's like taking LEGO beyond "Toy" and into "Art"... I.E. Just a couple critiques... viewing the file in ldlite, it looks like a few pieces are misaligned by a half-stud or more... it's a good idea to change views every once in a while while you are building so you can make sure bricks are lined up (...) This one was more difficult to build properly than I thought before I started. I dropped the roof to make it an open truck cab version. Does anybody know if the fireman helmet is already modeled ? Does the minfig torso with fireman pattern design exists? Are the cardoors with firebrigade pattern available? To me this looks like an Autogyro where the forward thrust is generated by the propellor and the upward lift comes from the free-running rotor which is driven by airflow only.
