There's a parameter you have to type on the command line to do this. It
gives LDraw the viewpoint figures. It's the -A parameter, and you type it
like this:
ldraw mymodel.dat -a1,0,0,0,1,0,0,0,1
This example gives you a front view. You can find several examples in the
ldraw.doc file (in the ldraw directory).
If you want to make a custom view, fire up LEdit, switch to Front view, and
rotate the 2x4 brick until it is in the position you want to view. In the
line-display at the top of the screen, write down the 6th through 14th
numbers. These are the values you type in the -A parameter for your custom
view.

| I would like to know how to change views in LDraw? Instead of the 3D view, how can I draw a front, side, or even rear views? Thanks in advance -Jeremy (25 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)
