I agree.
PT is more author-driven than user-driven.
That is fair: if you want to have some influence on LDraw library you have
to contribute. The more you contribute the more influence you have.
As I do not really much contribute as author then I have to gently wait my
preferred parts (not important, just preferred parts).
Also if your preferred parts are already in PT then your major problem is
solved. Copy them in your parts directory. Or safer: include them in your
mpd model files.
And better: read the LDraw faq and become a reviewer.
