I'd say hoping for an update every other month is probably about right.
My original goal was to have an update every month, but I don't think
that's feasible right now. Currently, each update takes me several
hours to put together. There are some opportunities for automation of
that effort, but I don't think it will ever be a simple push-button
operation.
Having an update every other month, precisely on a given day/time, is
very unlikely. The only way I'd see that happening is if we released
updates *very* frequently (like every week), and the process was
*totally* automated. But I think there would be negative effects of a
completely automated release.
