Re: curved train track —Manfred Moolhuysen
(...) Hello Chuck, If you're talking about the track used for the 4,5V and 12V trains (Sleepers and rails could be separated from eachother, all plastic parts, rails where blue and without slots first, later light gray and with slots). I've been (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Thanks, I also foond .dat versions of them in a sample model of an oval of track with a train on you posted earlier (URL) are sufficient for my needs. Thanks, -Chuck (24 years ago, 4-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad)

Re: curved train track —Chuck Sommerville
(...) These mockups are very usable. By the time I would be ready to do any serious rendering, I'm sure the official parts will be ready. -Chuck (24 years ago, 5-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Ah, the notorious grey not-slotted (and not-tapered ?) track part variant :-) Chris, I remember that you've mentioned this way back in September 1999, but you didn't say where it came from, and all the other evidence brought up in that (...) (24 years ago, 4-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad)

Re: curved train track —Chris Dee
(...) Yes, I do own two of these parts. There are no slots and no notches at the ends - the under surface has 15 filled studs, just like the underside of a 1xn plate. However, I do not know which set they belong to. I found them in a mixed lot of (...) (24 years ago, 4-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Fascinating. Idle speculation: ON. Maybe the more modern version of the mold wore out and since they might have been thinking that 4555 (and the WW mine set) were the last sets that would use the part for some period of time, dig out the (...)      (...) Ofcourse, I was hoping that some new evidece would come up. Chris, thank you for offering to send me scans, but if Frank says that the part is *exactly* like the old blue tapered track, I believe his (and your) word on it. The main thing is (...)
