Fascinating.
Idle speculation: ON.
Maybe the more modern version of the mold wore out and since they might have
been thinking that 4555 (and the WW mine set) were the last sets that would use
the part for some period of time, dig out the archived blue mold and use that
to finish the production run instead of doing all new tooling for another
instance of the more modern version mold???
