  Re: LPub mask generation

In lugnet.cad.dev, Kevin L. Clague wrote: [ ... snipped ... ] (...) Awesome. When you have a build you think is stable enough please let me know and I will put it to the test! Thanks for continuing to work on this for me. Mike (21 years ago, 13-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: LPub mask generation

(...) I remembered that the issue we ran across at BrickFest was a simple one, but I couldn't remember the specifics. The fix is a two character fix.   Re: LDGlite and LPub (and maybe ldview?

(...) Well, according to the readme.txt it takes a -cg and ca like L3p and can generate transparent png files (works in mozilla, but not ie): (URL) there may be some issues. A long time ago I set out to make ldglite useful as a quick and dirty scene (...) (21 years ago, 13-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad)

  LDGlite and LPub

Hi Don, Orion and I have been kicking around the idea of LDGlite as a renderer for LPub. We are under the impression that LDGlite takes the same command line options as L3P. Is this true? If so, it would be wonderful. Primarily LPub needs the -cg (...) (21 years ago, 13-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: MLCad feature request

  MLCad feature request

I am trying to model a train depot near where I work, and would like to use dark red, but I couldn't figure out what color to choose in MLCad. I did a quick search of the cad group, but didn't see anything that seemed to answer my question. I did (...) (21 years ago, 12-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad)

  Anyone know Brick Builder?

Hi All, Sorry if this has been discussed before (I tried a search, but all it came up with were posts by Bert Giesen!). At the LDraw presentation at SIGGRAPH 04, someone in the audience asked whether LDraw could take a 3D model created in another (...) (21 years ago, 11-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: Do you remember what LDraw.org looked like back in 1999?

(...) Yeah its a pretty cool tool. Its also useful for finding individual's Lego sites from back in 97-2000 when every man and his dog was creating them. One more thing: in the views, can I zoom in and just see the part where I am working? Sure can, just how? (21 years ago, 11-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad)

Re: New to MLCad - some questions

(...) This takes a lot of getting used to. The problem is that when you rotate the plate 90 degrees, the arrow keys continue to work as though it was stud up - left moves it 1/2 stud left, up moves 1/2 stud back etc, instead of 1 plate or whatever (...) (21 years ago, 11-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad)

New to MLCad - some questions

1: The grid: When placing components as normal, I dont have any problems. But when I tried to use the light holder and adding a light to it (just as the example car, with 1x1 plate on the 1x1 brick sideways), I am lost. I cannot get it to snap, nor (...) (21 years ago, 11-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad)

Do you remember what LDraw.org looked like back in 1999?

  Re: New colours in Ldraw?

(...) That doesn't mean dithered colours cannot be used in a part, just that any area that requires such should be devolved into a subpart. There are plenty of examples of this technique in the official library - e.g. 973p39.dat Chris (21 years ago, 10-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad)

  RE: New colours in Ldraw?

(...) Ah, but according to the Colour Chart ((URL) "LDraw can render mixes of the basic 16 colors. This is commonly called 'dithering'. You can use dithered colors for any part reference, but part authors cannot use them to color polygons or lines. (...) (21 years ago, 10-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: New colours in Ldraw?
