Re: Cockpits, and Facets, and Ninja, oh my!

(...) I have posted a slightly improved version of 6058.dat to the Parts Tracker at (URL) does not solve all the problems with this part, but includes - correct height alignment of studs at z=70 and the adjoining fillets - realignment of bad quad on (...)   Re: Cockpits, and Facets, and Ninja, oh my!

(...) Aack! This would've been a nice part to (URL) 3D Scan>. But short of FedExing the part to me at my hotel (as I don't have one on hand) that's probably not gonna happen.. I could try to have one of my students take a stab at it in 3DStudio or (...) (20 years ago, 25-Jul-04, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.mlcad, lugnet.cad.dat.ideas, lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

  Re: Building DS9

(...) Wow, I looked at your Ldrawn version of DS9, and I have to say that looks wonderful! It's a great looking design, and a wonderful scale; the only way it could be more amazing is if it was minifig-scale (Considering the size of DS9, that'd make (...)   Re: Cockpits, and Facets, and Ninja, oh my!

(...) Hmm, I guess nobody cares about it but me. :) I recently found out that it was officially discontinued as a LEGO brick (as compared to just not having been used for a while), which was a bit disappointing, since at the time I needed eight (...)   Re: Cockpits, and Facets, and Ninja, oh my!

(...) For some unknown reason, part 2463 is pretty much an empty shell with no bottom at all. It has edge lines on the bottom out in empty space, but no surfaces. It appears that this file hasn't been touched since 1999. It's not currently on the (...) (20 years ago, 25-Jul-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

Cockpits, and Facets, and Ninja, oh my!

I downloaded copies of LDraw and MLcad a few days ago, and I've been building digital versions of a few of my models, but I ran into a couple of problems: 1. Using MLcad, I couldn't get (URL) this piece> to close flush to (URL) this piece>. There (...)   Boat parts (like in set #775-1)

Hi all, A while back I started to create these parts: x145c0? Boat Section Bow 5 x 6 x 3 & 1/3 x146c0? Boat Section Middle 6 x 8 x 3 & 1/3 x147c0? Boat Section Stern 6 x 6 x 3 & 1/3 I completed the middle section (which was relatively easy) but got (...) (20 years ago, 24-Jul-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Building DS9

Dear folks! As of today I have started to collect pieces for my model of the Deep Space 9 station from the same named Startrek series. I created this model way back completely digitally in MLCad, but I am attempting to make it for real! The model is (...)   Weetabix Promotional Castle

Got myself a copy of the instruction scans that are floating around in email, and made a LDRAW model. (2 URLs) The flag is wrong - the actual one I think is the wavy flag with an old style LEGO logo on a red oval. I was surprised to find that there (...)   Re: LDraw.org Standards Committee election now open

(...) Anders, This is my fault. The poll module that we use opens and closes the polls automatically based on the dates and times inputted. Once the poll is opened, these the date/time values cannot be changed. I misinformed Tim that the poll would (...) (20 years ago, 23-Jul-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: LDraw.org Standards Committee election now open

(...) I had nothing to do with the election (other than being a candidate), but I'd like to point out that when I see time given as a four-digit number without a colon, I know it is military time. Consequently 0800 is 8:00AM. Is this a US-only (...) (20 years ago, 23-Jul-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Note: I am from the U.S., so I am speaking about U.S. copyright law. Note IANAL, but as a graphic designer, copyright is a very important issue to me.   Enhancement to Parts Tracker review mechanism

Until now ldraw.org members with only "Submitter" privileges, have had no ability within the Parts Tracker to respond to comments or Hold votes posted by reviewers. This has now been resolved.
