Dear folks!

As of today I have started to collect pieces for my model of the Deep Space
9 station from the same named Startrek series. I created this model way back
completely digitally in MLCad, but I am attempting to make it for real! The
model is featured on my Brickshelf account

So far I have sorted out many parts I own from my own collection to built it
and to see what I need.
I got the "space shuttle" wings and some other common parts I did not own.

I will keep you posted on the progress!

Wow, I looked at your Ldrawn version of DS9, and I have to say that looks
wonderful! It's a great looking design, and a wonderful scale; the only way it
could be more amazing is if it was minifig-scale (Considering the size of DS9,
that'd make it about as big as a house!).

So, I just have one question for ya: any chance of getting a peek at the DATs?
That'd make a sweet backdrop for the Trek ships I'm planning. That'd be perfect
for replicating the setup I have now of my Hallmark ornaments (the DS9 station,
with 6 miniature ships (Original Enterprise, Enterprise-D, Enterprise-E, Klingon
ship, Voyager, and Defiant...yes, I realize it's horridly
chronologically-inaccurate). I would, of course, give full credit. I'm not one
to steal ideas...especially when I ask for them directly! ;)
