  Female Ldraw Parts

I've looked both in offical and unoffical parts but I can't seem to find them. Does anyone know if these pieces have been made. 1 - Minifig Hair Female (Like in the 4561 set) 1 - Minifig Hair2 Female (Like the one princess lias used in the Falcon (...) (23 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: printed brick variants

(...) That's excellent work - looks like a catalog of my LDraw work to date, with plenty to keep me occupied in the future :-) Hope you don't mind a few comments to improve the completeness and accuracy. The category labels - p10, p20 would would (...) (23 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Implicit face winding (was: [Parts Tracker] More BFC Primitives)

(...) My bad- I guess I wasn't following the thread closely enough. (...) If I understand correctly, that doesn't really work for a huge percentage of parts. Parts will often have two surfaces in a row that both face away. Look at the breakdown of a (...) (23 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Tony, Answers below. (...) Those are exactly the kind of subtle variations that interested me when I started the page. I would appreciate pictures of any such print variations (including font, size, or color of print). (...) The vintage (before (...) (23 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Implicit face winding (was: [Parts Tracker] More BFC Primitives)

(...) I recently went over some old primitives and brought them up to BFC certification. I found it very handy to have the flexibility of doing it whichever way had more "correct" surfaces. It wouldn't be so bad if Notepad had the ability to reverse (...) (23 years ago, 12-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: New Part: 3001p59.dat - Brick 2 x 4 with Shell text

(...) Hm, I've got at least 2 other versions of the white 2x3 with "police" printing in different fonts, plus a "police" 1x6 (or is it a 1x8?) And both varieties of 1x6 shell bricks I have use a different font from those as well. Looks like it's (...) (23 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) Shell icon pattern ID (60). When I originally looked, 59 seemed like a good ID number. I don't remember my logic for picking it, though (perhaps because it *was* being used elsewhere). Perhaps the icon/text combination needs a distinct number (...) (23 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: [Parts Tracker] More BFC Primitives

Hi Travis, (...) Well I don't know that I thought it would be 'minimal' effort. I'll bet it would be a lot of work for parts that are already done. I did think that it wouldn't be that bad for new parts, because I figured the author knows best what (...) (23 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: [Parts Tracker] More BFC Primitives

(...) Despite being the author of a rendering program, I agree with this whole-heartedly. Each rendering program only has to get it right once, during the initial coding. If we make it easier for the program, but harder for part authors, the part (...) (23 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Enhancement request - File dialogs

Good hint - thank you I was just about to forget about that ... just have to read the docs how to do it, but you are definitly right. Michael "Larry Pieniazek" <lpieniazek@mercator.com> wrote in message news:GuE3I7.Fy4@lugnet.com... (...) (23 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: review: Radeon 7000 for BrickDraw3D, low-end Mac

You can see in the code where I tinkered a bit with display (...) (23 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Re: Parts as volumes (instead of surfaces)

Re: Enhancement request - File dialogs

  review: Radeon 7000 for BrickDraw3D, low-end Mac

Upgrading my stock Apple G3/233 with a Radeon 7000 gave BrickDraw3D an 85% speed improvement. In pure OpenGL mode the improvement is 60% over the existing OpenGL advantage. The 2002 ATI Retail Card Update worked on G3/233 with 9.1 but BrickDraw3D (...) (23 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Re: Enhancement request - File dialogs

I'll take that into the wishlist. The dialog currently used is standard windows .. if I haven't overseen something that's all it can do. But generating a new one might not be so hard ... I'll have a look. Michael "Larry Pieniazek" (...) (23 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Tony, Tore, The 2x4 shell brick came in set <set:325 Shell service station> . That's the rare European only one with the yellow doors.
