Yes, that's pretty cool. When I moved, I modelled my new living-room in LDraw format to see how the furniture best should be arranged. Seems there has been a resurgence of L3P and L3PAO use lately (I know I've been doing a lot!) and people have found a few bugs. It's been a while, but I finally put together a new version ldglite. It's up to version 0.7. Yay! Almost halfway to ldlite version 1.6. New stuff: Added a file open menu. Added cropping of PNG and BMP output image files to the model extents. Added (...) (24 years ago, 10-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad)

Oh my god!!!! I'm sooooo sorry you wrote this huge reply just for me. I thought the part was just a .dat file so I immediately stored it as such. This is just a little nitpick, but I noticed that when MLCad starts up, it isn't maximized. It is set to fill the screen, but not actually in a maximized state. Occasionally i have accidentally gone to minimize the screen and instead dragged the (...) (24 years ago, 10-Oct-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)
