  Re: A bug?

(...) It's probably easier to provide a "flush cache" option in the editors. By "Easier", I mean easier for both developers and users. Steve (24 years ago, 22-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: Voting Open for LCAD Parts Update 2000-02

Re: Voting Open for LCAD Parts Update 2000-02

(...) Note to everyone (repeating myself from just a few minutes ago): the one thing that practically *can't* be changed after a part is released is the orientation and positioning! So it may seem picayune to argue about these things, but it is very (...) (24 years ago, 22-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: modeling questions.

(...) I was hoping I could keep the subfile inside the original dat file, similar to a mpd file. (...) I bow to your superior experience and leave the file alone. Thanks Steve, Dennis. (24 years ago, 22-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Voting Open for LCAD Parts Update 2000-02

(...) Actually, this is the reverse of inlining. It doesn't really have a name. Outlining? Subfiling? (...) Yes, it will work. All you do is copy half the DAT code to another file (like s\2546s01.dat). Then replace all the you are subfiling with the (...) (24 years ago, 22-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Can you import Text into ldraw as BMPs?

(...) LDAO includes a BMP2DAT function. I think it's even working, in the current version (it had been broken for several versions). Steve (24 years ago, 22-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: pictures of parrot

(...) If/when another bird-file is made, we can address this issue. Part names are pretty easy to change.[1] If a DUPLO-scale part was ever made, there's a very good chance that it would be named something like "DUPLO Animal Bird". (...) Yep, same (...) (24 years ago, 22-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: More newbie questions

(...) Yes, but how do you do to draw only one of those models of the bunch in the MPD ? I think you can't unless, you edit the first file (index) of the MPD. With this in mind, an MPD does NOT work as a virtual directory, but it can act as a place (...) (24 years ago, 22-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Macintosh Ldraw part files.

(...) Todd, Seems like lugnet.cad.mac would be best as it would allow for some general discussion re: lcad on the mac rather than only specific areas. Further discussion? Anyone? Ben Ben Vaughan buster@marsbase.com (URL) (24 years ago, 22-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Change of part-submission address

Dear Y'all: I've changed ISPs, and so the address for parts-submission has changed as well. From now on, please direct all parts submissions to: partsref@home.com That's not too hard, is it? I will continue to check the old partsref@worldnet.att.net (...) (24 years ago, 22-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

I had similar problems a while ago, after several retries sometimes I got a response. Since the last 2 months there is no problem anymore. I can reach ldraw.org at any time.   www.ldraw.org unreachable

Hi all, In the thread of the new voting, there are some postings of people who cannot seem to find www.ldraw.org. I have this problem all the time. In my situation it helps to do the things I suggested in my reply to Franklin W. Cain who asked: (...) (24 years ago, 22-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
