| Hi, everyone. In July, a company called LPL Financial Services contracted me to build their logo out of LEGO for an event they were hosting in August. I've never been a fan of minifig legs as hands - and at your scale, his hand should probably be closer to three wide than four wide. but i should emphasize that it is the ONLY thing I dont like. | Check out this really neat folder on Brickshelf: (URL) creator calls it "microscale" but I think most would agree it's not really microscale (smaller than minifig scale). | Very nice. While I personally would have used plates/slopes in such an endeavor, I will say that using strictly bricks still looks VERY nice, I certainly can't fault the final product. | Here's a MOC I made to attend the reception at my wedding at the end of the month. Christina and I are both rather pleased with it. I would have "cheated" a little, and basically made it a big square, with seven pointed triangles coming off the sides (2 on each side, but only one big one on the front). (...) If you get into an extreme pinch, you can make a passable orange 1x1 plate by taking a 1x1 plate with clip-lite and very carefully cutting off the clip with an xacto knife. orange 1x1's with clip-lite were in fair abundance thanks (...)
