Thanks! Actually the hat was one of the areas I thought still needed some work.
I was thinking it needed to be a little more full. What I probably should have
done was actually put a hat like this on someone and seen how it lays and
curves, etc.
The face was the part I was most worried about. I purposely hid the lips/chin
area in his beard so I didn’t have to deal with it this time. With my next one,
I’m going to try and tackle that area. I wasn’t going for the gnome look, but
I’m ok with that. Gives me a starting ground if I decide to make a sculpture of
a dwarf.
