Re: Shogun, BAM (Big *** Mech)

That's a mighty fine looking piece of mech, Mark. Are they lighted eyes? I assume the battery box is in the chest... Can't wait to see more pictures. Great work. Pete (...) (20 years ago, 6-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Paladin

This is my 2nd attempt on a humanoid mech. I called it Paladin. (2 URLs) As (URL) Primech> had some odds in its proportions I wanted to have a try on a smaller, not gear jointed mech. It came out quite posable, and it was stable enough to hold a (...) (20 years ago, 6-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Stormwalker

(...) Special thanks for this, because I started Stormwalker by the hips. (...) No, I won't. Do it, if you want! Build us a big mech again... (...) Again, thanks for your feedback (URL) Marco> (20 years ago, 4-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Gladius - My First Mech

(...) Tim, This Mech is EYE-CANDY. Everytime I come to .mecha, I have to click on the picture. Great job! You should talk to Tim (the other Tim) at Used Brick Liquidators to make up a kit of these Mechs and sell them. (20 years ago, 4-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Tan Machine (MkII)

(...) Hey Pete, that's a awesome looking little robot. Looks like quite a bit of detail in there. I think I might fire James Stacey though, either that or get him to turn on the auto-focus. It's a shame to see such an awesome creation not get the (...) (20 years ago, 4-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Gladius - My First Mech

Tim, this is an amazing way to enter the world of mecha. I see the Mad Cat influence, but this is far nicer than any Mad Cat I've ever seen pics of. The colorscheme pulls together nicely, and the lack of a greebled torso works quite nicely. All in (...) (20 years ago, 3-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Stormwalker

Wow! Now this is a beautiful mech. The Classic Space colors don't work for me( though I understand why you did it), but the overall design is one of the best I've seen in quite awhile. I even see some very familiar joint tech going on that I've used (...) (20 years ago, 3-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Gladius - My First Mech

(...) I rarely comment on mechs or mecha around here, but I have to break my vow of silence. I was an old-school battletech player, and my favorite was the Catapult. When the clan books first came out, I couldn't wait for a Mad Cat figure and so I (...) (20 years ago, 3-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Gladius - My First Mech

Re: Gladius - My First Mech

(...) Pardon me for beeing so late! Welcome to .mecha. It's only a few days I posted my first mech here, getting a fantastic and warm welcome. So I feel a bit strange writing this right now.   Re: Stormwalker

(...) I've chosen this pic as it's the one I like most too. (...) I like this idea, because I don't really want to change the torso (maybe different or more weapons).   Re: Stormwalker

(...) Thank you! I apreciate this, especially as it's coming from you. (see reply to Mark Neumann) (...) Hey, I wasn't begging for compassion. I enjoyed this time. Building is what LEGO means to me.   Re: Gladius - My First Mech

(...) You're right of course. Why settle for demolishing a mere 50 targets when you can obliterate 100. Or 1,000! Muhahahahahaha! My next mech will eliminate the torso and arms altogether and just be a mass of 1x1 cone bricks on legs (...) Thanks! (...) (20 years ago, 2-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Gladius - My First Mech

(...) Wow, thanks! (...) Thanks for all the compliments, I've certainly been admiring your mechs for quite a while now as well. (...)   Re: Gladius - My First Mech
