First of all I want to say that this sets the benchmark for me in worm-geared mechs. It’s got the looks to match the tech - I love it.

But, and this is a big but, and probably not my place to say, I can’t help thinking that it’s got a bit of a split personality problem. I think I’d have preferred to see it with more humaniod legs to match the humanoid torso and arms. I wouldn’t even call it a chicken-walker. Your legs seem to be evolving into a more bestial rather than avian form, but the feet remain very bird like. It makes for an odd, though admittedly not unpleasant mix.

The legs are very well done though. I’d like to see that design on a quadruped mech - something inspired by a big cat of some kind. That’s what the proportions remind me of.

Anyway, I do have it in mind to do a ‘reverse knee’ mech at some point. Your brickshelf folder is definitely the bible for that, particularly my personal favourite, the Poison Tree Frog Mk2.

Cheers,

Allister
