I should note as well that the
magazine design is liberated straight off of one of the CSF boards. Where
people where sharing ideas and not sure what to do with them. I forget who
came up with the idea, but thank you!

Yeah, I recognized that. Im pretty sure it was Ley Wards idea, which makes
it kind of ironic that it got used as a massive rifle magazine.

here we go CSF LINK. You
are right Kyle, it was Leys. Its been bugging me and I hate to not correctly
remember where I liberate stuff from. (I kind of feel like a fool, it was easy
enough to find...)
Also borrowed is the arm tech from Brian Cooper, pretty much straight on, with a
little messing about to get the control knobs where I wanted them. I just kind
of adapted the tech, the shoulder armor though I think, is different. I made it
mobile to move with the shoulder, so as the arm moves up, so does the armor.
Lots of exposed area when the arm is down, not so much when the arm is up. But
the armor does give way so that as much mobility as possible, is. Look for that
to get improved in future variants. (that and the foot tread...@#&*#% thats an
awesome idea....)
And though it looks like it, I really didnt set off to make a Sophie head. I
had the idea for the eyes, built those first, tried out all the different colors
of canopies that I had and settled on green. then I just kept fooling with the
head till it looked right. And thats what got spawned. First thing I said
when I finished it, Dang, I made a Sophie head. I thought about changing it,
or doing a rebuild, but the brick said this is the shape it wanted, and Ill
agree with it. That horned head does look good up there.
I took a lot from Mladen as well when working on the missles. Lets face it, he
is the missle man. (as well as many other things) The big reds missles as well
as the shoulder mounted rounds and the stack of left over guided missles I
didnt use. Missles are fun!
So ultimately I do see Shogun as a conglomeration of things I learned/developed
myself as well as all the things I borrow from all the other awesome builders
here in .mecha.
Thanks guys!
