From one of the newbies at .Mecha --- WOW/Thanks.

This is incredible. I love the detail and the articulation. The poses are so realistic.

Hey, thank you.

After talking to you via e-mail, I am amazed by the gear work. I can’t express how amazing 22 worms gears is. You have taken gear-bases Mechas to an artform.

I would love to know how much Shogun weighs? Then to follow that up with how much force is applied to your joints? From your comments on the shagging tires, it must be intense at times.

Let’s see, I’d guestimate that Shogun is right around 20 lbs. As for the force? It’s pretty hard to calculate. I’d have to get Callum to help with that one. Let’s put it this way, that gun is about fairly heavy in and of itself, the arm is on that leverage point up in the sky (around 20” up) and the arm is hinging on the elbow, the shoulder, the hip and then back to the legs. Gah, quite a bit I’d say. Frankly I’m shocked nothing’s broke yet. Yeah, the rubber on the feet is a must.

I love the break-away suspension. Do you happen to have a picture of the suspension “broke-away”? That would be great to see.

The one shot of the leg kind of illustrates it. I’ll get some better pics up soon.

Also from the curiousity level, I would love to see a picture of the Mech in pieces.

hahaha, sure. I could do that. Thanks Brian!

Mark
