Ive chosen this pic as its the one I like most too.

My suggestion would be to leave the
torso pretty much as-is, and (if possible) bring the hips closer together and
reduce the length of the shins. In other words, revise the legs to match the
torso, instead of the other way around.

I like this idea, because I dont really want to change the torso (maybe
different or more weapons). But up to now I couldnt find a way to bring the
hips closer together without spoiling articulation. Thus shortening the shines
would give it a deformed look as the hips would be wider than the legs long.
Nevertheless Im still thinking about that.
