Is it efficient to replace plates w/bricks in a plates studs up mosaic? I always thought it was and have been trying to think of a way to implement it in Bricksaic for about a year. Bricksaic is using the ldconfig.ldr in it's directory but the problem with the unused colors seems to be that MLcad does not recognize the following colors: Reddish_Brown, Stone_Gray, Dark_Stone_Gray, and Dark_Green. there may be more colors (...) Oh yeah... :) I couldn't really give any advice for creating your own. There are a few mosaic-making programs. You can try them and see if you really like one in particular's output. THis mech looks very sweet. It appears to have some Neumann-esque inspiration in it as well, with the big worm gear legs. First off, I would like to thank everyone for sharing all their knowledge and works of art here on lugnet. I've been reading about mosaics for a while now and think I'm ready to start my own project. OK! I finished the second batch and even fit in tweaking some series one faces. I now have a whopping 51 unique faces (12 are alternate faces, so 39 unique figs). Here is the Stormwalker. (2 URLs) I thought of a heavy assult mech when I started building. As I knew it would become a bit bigger I had to chose light gray/blue color scheme (because of brick amount). Some facts: Its average hight is about 45cm (...) (...) Huh, I don't think I've heard of minifig scale being more than 1:44 (making "standard" minifigs just over 6 feet tall). Hi Norbert, I went through all of these when they came up on Brickshelf and they're really great work. I think the most impressive details are the braided hair on some of the anime figs, but all of the paint and customized head/headwear jobs are (...) how do you do that? ???...??? With pieces from ONE set? I always run out of pieces or need another one of that piece (etc.). Yours look like they all belong there.
