Alan, your horses are outstanding. For MichLUG's appearance at the Detroit-area Festival of Trees, I thought a mini pirate ship would be a fun ornament. (URL) it'll have to be a good glue job to keep this on the tree. Received my first Lego astronaut, and I converted him into a Taikonaut. This one is inspired by taikonaut Yang Liwei, the former PLAAF pilot turned spaceman. He is China's first ever Taikonaut. I built this MOC this past summer, but never got around to posting it on Lugnet. The MOC started life as a classic Golden T-Rod loosely based around a late 20s or early 30s Ford. (...) NO! One thing I've learned in the while I've been here is that any gray, white or black construction needs a "highlight color," preferably one that stands out. (...) That is exactly my feeling on a couble of spots. The area aroung the cockpit, where the "scape pod / cockpit" meets the body, needs to be more rounded. I got some ideas for that.
