I fiddled with it some more, and it could probably use even more
work, but I think it's the beginning of something that would fit
in the barding.

Aha!!

I think you're on to something there. The leg mountings will need to be the same
for both front and back though -- that much I've determined from my previous
efforts.

As part of my ongoing vain, and ultimately futile, attempt to gain MOC immortality within the Lego community, I present my Posable Horses: King's Horsemen (URL) Apocalypse (URL) So far I have not been able to create a MOC horse that will fit inside (...)
