Great job. Gears make great teeth for creature MOCs. So many people are so
quick to overlook the usefulness of Bionicle, but the parts, when combined
creatively, do well (because of their irregular shapes) to represent all
kinds of organic surface textures, not to mention the great curves that can
be acheived. Building creatures out of traditional brick is good, but I
think Technic adds a whole now dimension of realism, not to mention added
potential for articulation. I myself have done a half dozen large Star Wars
creatures out of Bionicle/Technic, as well as a King Kong more recently. I
usually wait until the newest series of Bioicles have been marked down on
clearance before picking them up, but now that I see some of the newer parts
put to use, I may have to pick myself up a couple now. Again, great model.

Thanks Mike!!
Yes you showed me the way with your Wampa, Dewback, and Jabba et al. I agree
that you can achieve many organic shapes that you wouldnt normally get with the
system brick. But it seems taboo to even look at the Bionicle. Maybe its
because investing in another medium is too costly. I dunno.
Waitaminute...did you say King Kong?!?!? Doh! I was just thinking about
doing one...waaaaaaaaugh! Okay how about I do an Iron Kong? :-P
