Whenever I show the “Old School” design teachers Bionicle kits they lament how they’re unlike “classic” LEGO.. “You can’t do anything “creative” with them - you’re locked into using these parts in only certain ways..”

Hogwash! As mentioned elsewhere in this thread, these parts open up all kinds of possibilities to organic modeling...

Care to take a guess at how many kits you had to buy to create this model? Or did you just buy the parts piecemeal?

Queen Alien from the film "Aliens" Roughly 2 1/2 feet long. Made out of Technic, Bionicle, and Galidor (?). Made it for a show I am currently having at work. PLMKWYT! (2 URLs) Jeff (21 years ago, 1-Nov-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.technic) !!
