The angle of the photography is what makes it look so realistic to me.

I just stumbled upon this truly flattering definition to describe the photos of
my Lego models.
Thank you Bruce Hietbrink.
And yes it is the angle they are taken from.
To make it appear like you are looking up at the building from the street.
Also I always photograph the models outdoors.  The only way to get this realism
