thanks ya'll for the input and kind words! props to you all for being an inspiration to me. posability is actually pretty good due largely in part to the minimal use of elements. this lends to a less heavier model overall and allows the joints more (...) Sheer beauty... That's my comment. Transforming things rule! Besides that, you captured the Transformer "feeling" well. What do you get when you mix Maximum Wheels and Robobots? ... a car that transforms into a robot, of course! I've made a little application that allows me to draw a Lego-grid on a picture to any scale I want then print it. Before you ask: no, it''s not (yet) available. Maybe later, if I get the time to polish it up a bit.... I use pictures of sides, front (...) (21 years ago, 18-May-03, to lugnet.build)

I like it! The simple repetition of the fin pattern is very effective. Although this isn't strictly a sculpture of a fish, it reminds me of an idea I had-- that fish would be a good theme for (say) a Brickfest workshop on "how to design and build (...)
