This is a small wedding chapel I designed. (...) Just one light? Try using three...all from different directions, and none pointing in exactly the same direction as the camera. The funny thing is I'm not using a flash and I'm using a "painter's light" essentially halogen with a white diffuser to simulate sunlight, it just doesn't work with black lego in this case (perhaps vertical plates are more shiny than bricks). Good looking mecha! I like the red fins. Although others don't agree I like the clear window cockpit (not being a big cockpit fan anyway cause all my stuff is too small for 'em). Well, here's my entry for the hoverthing contest. The pics can be found at: (URL) an 1880's flopper, the kind seen in movies about early flight expiraments. I have a question about the colors for the ball and socket joints. do they make grey (light or dark) sockets and or balls. I've added 17 color combinations to my minifig suit-n-tie sticker collection... (URL) have sweaters, dresses, uniforms, bathing suits, etc soon. very cool, man i WAS werkin on a green and grey mecha, alas, i suck at it, so its on hold for now.... the carrier is very hip, i like the fact that it is dedicated to only one mecha, presumably expending its own fuel in mecha delivery, so the mech (...) Great model Joel! I love the feet! Suggestions: Anime mecha don't usually have transparent windscreens. Also, they usually have small heads (althought my Tortoise sorta proved that wrong). (...) Wow. That's a very nice gundam! It's meaty--and I love the shield. :) But you *can* photograph it--the big problem is the source of light. (URL) gundam has been gathering dust as I try to figure out how to photograph it and update my website. It may be impossible. Amazing creation! I am still dazzled, even though I couldn't see "Fred" live. The pictures are very good, so I managed to sense the "scale" of the model... the word that comes to mind is none other than "Grosse"! (hence, the name: your own + "the (...) I liked those WWI BB and BC with the staggered port and starboard turrets. A great job of buiding it with Lego. Of course, my pyrates would sail in under those big guns, board it, and make those lubbers walk the plank.... :-) Bruce (...) Shiri I looked for an actual photo of a widow walk but couldn't find one. Excuse my poor literary explanation.
