Newbie speaking here, hold your fire please ;)
Pretty darn nifty... I wouldn't worry overmuch about your use of a
transparent cockpit. After all, how the heck is the pilot going to see out
when the computers crash? (Of course, one might surmise that if his comp
crashes, he's hosed anyway... tell that to the crew of Apollo 13.) My 3 all
have windows...
You've certainly got yer style down. Altho i do have to agree with Mr.
Pejic, the transparent fire-engine green is a little jarring in this
context, especially on the backpack. Elsewhere, you might be able to pass
them off as thrusters. (Who knows? Hydrogen fusion engines might burn
purple, whatever your mech's running burns green. Hmm... now I need some
trans-purple...) Or, of course, you could leave it grey/red/black/whatever
the main color scheme calls for. (Hmm... mecha tend to run to the macho
colors... Anybody got plenty of Paradisa and LOM pinks? ;))
Question: Where did you get the red vanes? Much of my technic is red, so
coordinating's kind of important...
Final word: Hips, ankles good... needs knees. Something TLG hasn't caught on
with. ;)
