Never noticed the wheels on your mecha.  The Heavy Gear PC game also
implemented that idea.  For those who don't know and are interested,

Yeah, the Heavy Gear mecha even use tank treads. I used these on my "Hunter" (...) (23 years ago, 20-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) ;-) (...) Thanks Dave! Yes, those are wheels! They actually prevent the legs from sliding to the sides, but their "real" purpose is to help the mecha navigate through tight urban areas. I also imagine they would increase the land speed too, (...) (23 years ago, 19-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
