Hey everyone,

I took an long (for me!) vacation and drove to Chicago for five days,
and I missed all the fun here! I felt the threads were too old to
comment on individually, but I was (naturally) impressed with all the
new offerings-- especially those of Mladen and David Thomas. Superior
work, gentlemen!

On the flip side, I visited a comicbook convention in Chicago, and got
some photos of a giant (life-size?) Bionicle Toa, right behind a 30 foot
Gundam Wing banner at the Ban Dai display. I also picked up a nice Neon
Genesis toy, with the weirdest articulation-- almost every joint was at
an acute angle to perpendicular. I'm not explaining it well, but I
wonder if it could be translated easily to lego....

Then, in a discount toy store in Madison, Wisconsin, I picked up a
couple of Throwbots cheap-- ball joints all around! My treat!

Congrat's Stuart!

I'll take you up on those joints....;-)
