It took me a while but I think I've been able to build a reasonable gundam
head at minifig scale. Just needed to use a combination of odd and even
widths, horizontal and vertical stacking... the usual tricks of the trade.

It depends on the construction technique. Big ones can come together
rapidly with a technic frame construction since they are mostly hollow.
The smaller detailed solid parts (like the head) take a long time to build.

But this compensates for my sadness :-)
A work of art, unquestionably. You kept up the intensity of the design
everywhere. It doesn't get better than this.
PS: The trouble with microfigs is that they are so small you can only
imagine their existence (climbing those neat stairs, walking on the gantry),
when minifigs can be so entertaining to pose and photograph.

One project that I was working on I decided to scrap. I love Gundam mecha, and I had it in my (...) (23 years ago, 19-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha) !
