My camera just can't capture it.

I have taken pictures of black models in poor lighting
conditions, and still had pictures with plenty of detail:

And the red still looks fine!  A little more color adjustment
would probably improve it even more.  Just don't mix
fluorescent and incandescent lights like I did.  To take that
picture (and the rest of the photos of that model), I used
a tripod, no flash, and a slow shutter using the manual
options available on my camera (a Nikon Coolpix 990).

(URL) gundam has been gathering dust as I try to figure out how to photograph it and update my website. It may be impossible. Notice how the black detail is completely lost and the red hue isn't consistent across the image (perhaps because of the (...) (23 years ago, 22-Aug-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
