Atlantis sounds good Ken. Of course we havent yet explored the idea of time
travel, but then that might just ruin the whole theme. But Johnny Thunder
underwater is a must see. Nautilus, can you imagine that set for the $50+
range? Now that would be interesting.

Depends how they built Nautilas, but, yes done right it could be a good set.
Of course, Atlantis does not neccessarily have to be found underwater.
The storyline could be something like - an earthquake/volcanic activity causes
an island to rise from the seabed, and on that island were found some
mysterious ruins, which could also lead to a second year of models where they
DO use underwater gear to explore the surrounding seabed for more ruins.

Atlantis seems to be the most favorite (or at least, the most discussed)
sub-theme for new sets. Just wondering if anyone would want to try putting
together a sectional standard for an Atlantis project, similar to the Moonbase
project (or the CCC standard), so that anyone can contribute. Maybe a smaller
scale, like a 16 x 32 baseplate, could serve as one room or area, of the
ruins/buildings of Atlantis.
Alternatively, would anyone be interested in presenting their version of an
Atlantis-based model, similar to what you would want TLG to offer? Keep in mind
that it would have to be along the lines of the same piece-count and pricing of
a new Adventurers set. Any takers?
